FOLLOW THE LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE
LETTER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A DONATION AND HELP TO
SPONSOR MY PARTICIPATION IN "AIDS WALK AFRICA"
A few months ago I
mentioned to a client that I wanted to find a project that
would truly inspire me. I wanted to do something
extraordinary that would make a difference in the world.
The next day she sent
me a link to The Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation
(EGPAF). I read the story of Elizabeth's life, her struggle
to save her children, the loss of her seven-year-old
daughter, her vow to save her son, and her death. I Cried.
I read on about the 2.2 million children living with AIDS
worldwide - and the lack of services that could have given
them a life without AIDS.
From
January 29th through February 3rd
2006, I will participate in "AIDS Walk Africa 2006". It
will involve a journey through the Arusha-Moshi area of
Tanzania. I will witness and work to heal some of the
devastating effects the HIV/AIDS pandemic has had on the
families, communities, and the economy of the continent.
I
have committed to raise a minimum of $10,000 to participate
in AIDS walk Africa. Tom and I have already committed $500
personally, in addition to my travel expenses. I am asking
for your helping in reaching and even surpassing my
fundraising goal.
Please
make a secure on-line donation at the following link. Any
amount will do. (If you bounce around
the site looking at the information and decide to make a
donation - PLEASE go to "Sponsor a Participant" and enter my
name - Kelly Sullivan - thanks)
