Billage Kneip

acrylic on canvas
size: 6' x 9'

I thought Billage Kneip meant "Speakeasy" in German. I've been corrected, it means speak softly. What a party Mercedes-Benz can throw. I had a great time painting with you in Dallas, but poor Marlene Dietrich took a little abuse. Should you discover that the tattoo you gave her no longer exists, please don't assume that I removed it. It could have been one of your other cohorts in crime, or it could have been your boss. I tried to maintain as much of the creative genius as possible, and still pull it all together. The original has been shipped to corporate headquarters and I believe it will hang in your new conference rooms. I'm sure they will make quite a conversation piece. If any of you have photographs of the painting at the party, I would love a copy of them. Cheers, and thanks for playing.
