I was so excited about painting this piece.  I met the Dave Matthews Band when they were staying at The Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco.  It was back in the days that they were playing clubs - not stadiums.  I was tending bar at Miss Pearls Jam House - which was attached to the Hotel.  They were great guys.  Dave gave the staff tickets and we walked the band to club.   We all had a great time.  I feel they are one of the greatest bands of my generation....completely unique.
