This was another thrill. I had the opportunity, thanks to some good people at VH-1, to meet Mr. John Lee Hooker in Las Vegas during part of their Rock Across America Tour. It took so much time to get permission from all the proper people (thank you proper people) just to be able to paint it that when I arrived in Las Vegas I spent several hours in the hotel room trying desperately to finish it on time. Luckily I work well under pressure. Meeting Mr. John Lee Hooker and having him sign my work was an honor.
