While living in San Francisco, I was asked to create a series of paintings for Joie De Vivre Hotels, depicting areas of the city that were well known to the locals. The series depicted places like The Grant and Green, The Buffalo in Golden Gate Park, Baker Beach, etc. The paintings are part of theme rooms at the Commodore Hotel in San Francisco. Joie De Vivre has a handful of funky, well done hotels in the city. Worth checking out if your planning a trip.
