Rock 'N
Roll Voodoo with The Rolling Stones
acrylic on canvas
size: 5' x 7'
God, What a good day. This piece was created at a Halloween party for The
Rolling Stones during their Voodoo Lounge Tour. This was a stroke of luck
I like to think I deserved. I found out about the event the night before
it happened. I spent all day doing the initial layout of the piece and had
to have it ready to go by midnight when the party started. Pure adrenaline
was enough to alleviate the total lack of sleep. Keith Richards was my
favorite. He was silly, and he kissed my cheek. Mick Jagger - a little
intimidating, but I got over it. Ron Wood's son Tyron found my work
"really cool" and did me the favor of enlisting his dad.
