Afternoon Pool
pencil on paper
size: 8.5" x 11"

This drawing is from one of the first pictures I took in Bangkok. The boy was playing pool with marbles on an old air hockey table fixed with wood sides and open pockets. If the young ones were lucky enough to get the shot they would have to chase the marble across the floor as it flew from the sides of the table. It kept them busy as the older members of the family worked in the cleaners. I had fun photographing them and they didn't mind showing off at all. The original was drawn in Thailand and was fortunate enough to make it all the way home in one piece. Afternoon Pool was given as a gift to friends.
